Kevin Feige says if Swashbuckler is in the MCU, he'll constitute played past Charlie Cox
It's not quite administrative unit confirmation, merely it's as close as Kevin Feige bequeath ever get. The Marvel Studios president has said that, if Daredevil were to seem in incoming MCU projects, he will be played by Charlie Cox.
Cyclooxygenase, who played The Human Without Awe across three Daredevil seasons (and one Defenders spinoff) on Netflix, has long been linked with a reprisal of the street-floor hero. Now, Feige has addressed those rumors.
"If you were to see Swashbuckler in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the role playe playing Daredevil. Where we see that, how we see that, when we go through that, remains to be seen," Feige told CinemaBlend.
Feige has clear been deliberate in his phrasing. This is not Feige saying Harum-scarum has linked the MCU (yet), only he's certainly stoking the fires for those hoping for a Charlie Cox regress.
His first left of call could cost in Wanderer-Man: No Way Plate. The original trailer for the multiversal mashup led to surmise that Cox was playing Matt Murdock and assisting Uncle Tom Netherlands in one scene – but that was quickly debunked past the IMAX version of the lagger.
Then, the MCU could be his oyster. Legal drama She-Hulk would be a great fit for Murdock/Daredevil, as would future spinoff Echo, starring Hawkeye antagonist Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox).
Information technology could still open for the door for more Netflix returnees – but that every corpse a dream. For straightaway, expect Charlie Cox to rock up in the MCU any twenty-four hours.
